Abode Inspection Services was among the first home inspection firms to begin operations in the Ottawa area, established in 1985 by Pat Duggan. Since then, Abode Inspections has performed tens of thousands of building inspections and has earned a reputation in the Ottawa region for integrity, thoroughness, professionalism and technical competence. This family business has since changed hands with Sean Duggan taking over as owner and president.
This commitment to excellence and customer care has allowed the business to thrive and evolve through decades of vast changes in the home inspection industry.
Sean Duggan is a second generation inspector, continuing this family run business incorporated in 1985. Mr. Duggan officially joined Abode Inspections in 2001, and subsequently spent the next three to four years assisting on approximately 1500 building inspections of all classifications. Concurrently, Mr. Duggan worked on post-secondary studies in building sciences.
Since this time Mr. Duggan has achieved RHI status with the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors (#000385), and National Certification in Canada (#NCA00329). He has conducted thousands of inspections in Ottawa and the surrounding environs involving residential, commercial, multi-unit, and other building classifications.
